'ELLO THERE! Name's Sarah, in case you weren't very observant in the past. ^.^ WRITING STYLEI generally write in a third person limited voice. I really want to learn how to write an interesting first person voice... without sounding juvenile. I'm writing a story right now that would be best in first person... So I need to work on that eventually. LIMITSNone that I can think of, really. Sex doesn't bother me. Nor do drugs, alcohol or gore. Just no massive power play, please. I don't care if your character slips mine a little chloroform or picks him up and kidnaps him... just don't kill my lovelies, okay? If you have any questions on what is appropriate, ask away. Typically, I won't bite your head off. I prefer to play males, and also I mostly do M/M pairings, but I'm willing to branch out. ROLEPLAYING I'm very much into romanticism, as you will find out from the characters I play. I'm very weak with plotting, but I will try by best to accommodate YOU. Yes, I will try to accommodate YOU. That's how I like to write. I like to make the story interesting for myself with an audience in mind. If this is a problem, I'll work with you on it. Most of my plots are based off stories that I have started but never finished... so I have a bit of an idea in mind ahead of time. I'm not looking to rewrite these stories... so give me something fresh to do! Every plot is ALWAYS open for negotiation. MODERN-The Last Trip of Our Lives A class of twenty high school students take a field trip. On the bus ride over, the bus breaks down mysteriously, and a teacher starts taking students out into the field and shooting them. BOY A and BOY B/ GIRL A manage to escape with their lives into the woods. Now it's a matter of finding someone who can listen to them before they end up like their classmates. **Much more detail** -Criminal MindsNope, not a fandom. Sorry kiddos. I can't stand to really play fandoms... I'd much rather make and use my own characters. But if you have watched the show Criminal Minds, you'll understand. I want a sick serial killer, a defenseless victim and a badass hero that serves justice. FANTASY -HeroAverage high school kid + comet = super powers. I know, it's a bit overrated, but humor me, okay? I'm thinking the kid gets hit by a comet, and then is found by an undercover man who wants to make him his apprentice... maybe the man used to have powers and lost them? -The Third WarWorld War III. Nuclear war, zombies, whatever you would like. I have written a story here under the library on this plot before, but I'm looking for an exact opposite approach. If you have seen The Colony from Discovery Channel, that show sums it up to a t. ANYthing post-apocolyptic is welcome. More to be added!

Name's Sarah, in case you weren't very observant in the past. ^.^ -- dear me... And I've been calling you Bob all this time. How rude of me. SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM I JUST DON'T EVEN KNOW. Shall we start a new WAU?

NEW CHARACTER TIMEEEEEEEE!
Mandatory Questions
1. What about you is heroic? My fighting prowess... bravery maybe?
2. What about you is social? What do you like about people? I like being closed to only a few people. I like people who are strong and when they do things without a reward in mind.
3. Invent an adventure/plot that your character would actively undertake (as opposed to just tagging along)? Anything that happens to emphasize my 'hero-syndrome' which I really need to get out of the habit of. And like any rebellious, hormone-infused teenager, I want to prove my past wrong. The past doesn't have to repeat itself.
Personal Questions
1. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use? Beckett Connor Hartlan. Becks or Beckett preferably.
2. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? Bucket from whenever I was a toddler or so. My older sister couldn't pronounce my name properly. She still calls me Bucket, as does my mom.
3. What do you look like? (Include height, weight, hair, eyes, skin, apparent age, and distinguishing features) I have brown hair, brown eyes, tan caucasian skin. I look a lot older than I am at the age of 23. I am about 6 foot 1 inch tall. I weigh 160-ish pounds.
4. How do you dress most of the time? I usually dress in a pair of long pants and a tee like any other Joe Schmo. I don't pay much attention to fashion.
5. How do you "dress up?" I rarely have to dress up, but when I do I usually go all out with a tux, or something classy.
6. How do you "dress down?" I prefer to be in sweat pants at almost all times and then just some sort of baggy tee.
7. What do you wear when you go to sleep? A hoodie and sweat pants.
8. Do you wear any jewelry? I used to wear this sterling silver cross, but as of lately I haven't felt like it.
9. In your opinion, what is your best feature? My mouth. I have a rather large mouth and some pretty teeth, if I do say so myself. It's a surprise that all of them are in tact after this long.
10. What's your real birth date? September 18th.
11. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.? Messy, cluttered but personally organized. If I need to find one of my own possessions I usually know where it is... to everyone else I live in a dump. The beds are never made and the tv's always on, but it's my choice, so get out of my house if you don't like it.
12. Do you own a car? Describe it. A POS car. It's a Ford, so you know it's shitty. It's about five sizes too small for me even with the seat reclined. It's red, which is my favorite part. Most of the time I prefer to walk or take public transportation.
13. What one word best describes you? Persistent.
Familial Questions
1. What was your family like? 2 older sisters who struggle to get by. A mom married to a real douche bag named Donny. All four of them are hooked on something.
2. Who was your father, and what was he like? I don't remember my real father very well-- he died when I was very young from a heart attack. Unless you mean Donny... well, he's a douche.
3. Who was your mother, and what was she like? My mom really has pure intent... but sometimes is too naive and optimistic for her own good. She says she'll break her habits, leave Donny, yadda yadda, but she doesn't.
4. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married? My biological father married my mother when they were both 18. He ended up cheating on her 2 years into their marriage. They stayed married for another six. I was born the seventh year of their marriage.
5. What were your siblings names? What were they like? Angela and Michelle. Angie's trying to get on her feet since losing her apartment and having a small family to raise. Her husband Josh is a good guy. Michelle is pregnant... again... with another brat child. She tends to steal things of mine.
6. What's the worst thing one of your siblings ever did to you? What's the worst thing you've done to one of your siblings? They've made me do illegal things for them, get them drugs, give them money for scripts, et cetera. The worst I've done to them was that I walked out on them.
7. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now? I saw Angie right before I left for Pittsburgh. Last I heard, she was living with Mom and Donny until she gets a job.
Childhood Questions
1. What is your first memory? Trying to run away when I was 3 years old. Mom said I could leave as long as I didn't go in the street. I packed up a bag of toys and started stomping through our neighbor's yards. I got maybe 3 houses away before I turned back, balling like a baby.
2. What was your favorite toy? That has to be my bear, as unoriginal as it sounds. My real dad gave it to me... even if I never met him, and even if all I hear about him is how he cheated, I like to think he was a decent guy.
3. What was your favorite game? Kickball.
5. Who was your best friend when you were growing up? A girl named Billie. She was my first crush when we were younger.
6. What is your fondest, childhood memory? Going to carnival when I was 6 years old. I won my own prize at one of the booths-- a giant purple gorilla. Later I found out my mom had paid for it.
7. What is your worst childhood memory? Hiding in the closet so that I couldn't watch my sisters do things they shouldn't when they baby-sat. They didn't want me to see them shoot up.
Adolescent Questions
1. How old were you when you went on your first date? 15.
2. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? Donny was the authority in our home, but I didn't buy it. I rebelled against him and was determined to become the male figure in the house. It didn't work.
3. What were you like in high school? What "clique" did you best fit in with? The geek clique, believe it or not. They usually had better conversations than 'my kind' did. I was mostly quiet and observant.
4. What were your high school goals? To pass. To get out of high school and out of my family.
5. What is your favorite memory from adolescence? Graduation day.
6. What is your worst memory from adolescence? Having to repeat the 9th grade.
Likes & Dislikes Questions
1. What hobbies do you have? I like meeting new people and trying new things. I tried to pick up music but it never worked out for me.
3. What bands do you like? Do you even pay attention? I listen to what's on the radio whenever I'm in my car. That's it. 4. What time of day is your favorite? Evening.
5. What kind of weather is your favorite? Cloudy with a chance of rain.
6. What is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food? Steak cooked to well done. Salad.
7. What is your favorite drink? (Coffee, Coke, Juice, Beer, Wine, etc.) Coffee, but when I'm getting drunk I drink beer.
8. What's your favorite animal? Why? Giraffe. Those things are so sweet. They have black tongues, they moo and are freaking huge like me. What's not to like?
9. Do you have any pets? Do you want any pets? What kind? I'm not much of an animal person.
10. What do you find most relaxing? (Not as in stress relief, but as something that actually calms you down.) Going for a drive or a walk.
11. What habit that others have annoys you most? Narcissism. When they talk all about themselves.
12. What kind of things embarrass you? Why? Sexuality and intimacy. Poor hygiene.
13. What don't you like about yourself? My past and seemingly cold exterior.
14. How would you like to look? I like how I look.
Sex & Intimacy Questions
1. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? Bisexual, but that's mostly because I'm attracted to men, but it feels a little wrong. Women don't really catch my eye, but they're not terrible either.
2. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? A girl named Christie Montague. Happened at my senior after prom. It was hot, a good time.
3. Have you ever had a same-sex experience? Who with, what was it like, and how did it go? Yes, with a boy named Ricky. It was better than I expected it to be.
4. What is your deepest, most well-hidden sexual fantasy? Would you ever try it? Anything bondage or sex slave... probably.
5. Is there any sexual activity that you will not, under any circumstances, do? I'll try anything once.
6. Do you currently have a lover? No current lover.
7. What is the perfect romantic date? I'm not big into romance unless it is completely private and not likely to become public knowledge. So somewhere discreet or casual.
8. Describe the perfect romantic partner for you. Someone who can understand what I want. 9. What was your most recent relationship like? Who was it with? (Does not need to be sexual, merely romantic.) I had a boyfriend for a period of time named Wynn. He wanted to become public for me to essentially hang on to his arm in public, so I called it quits.
10. What's the worst thing you've done to someone you loved? Walked away without expressing my real feelings.
Drug & Alcohol Questions
1. How old were you when you first got drunk? What was the experience like? I don't remember much about it, but it had to be a good time because I'm hooked.
2. Do you drink on any kind of regular basis? Typically every weekend or sooner if I'm stressed.
3. What kind of alcohol do you prefer? Liquor if available, but beer any other time.
4. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Are there any people should not do? Why or why not? I think it depends on the person. If you become addicted to it, then there lies the problem. If you just want o have fun for one time, fine, just don't make it a habit. It's costly and can cause some serious resentment.
Miscellaneous Questions
1. What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be? Failure, or having to depend on my parents again. I've seen where that road has taken my sisters, and I really don't want to get involved.
2. Has anyone or anything you've ever cared about died? How did you feel about it? What happened? My father, but I never knew him. Other than that, no one.
3. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen? Gun shot in my left forearm. I was out getting the stuff for Donny and someone pulled out a gun. The shot missed and hit me.
4. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish? I am extremely ticklish. I hate it. It makes cuddling difficult. I'm ticklish across my ribs and around my neck and face.
5. What do you do when you are bored? I usually go out for a drive or start messing around on this old keyboard I brought. I can't make music, but I can appreciate it.
